The first step in making a vertical planter is to create the structure and size of your planter and then assemble the wood, attach fabric, adding soil, cultivate plants, and set up an irrigation system.

Step 1. Create The Structure Of The Planter
Start by creating the wooden structure of the vertical planter, combining flat and square slats.
The idea is to recreate the shape of a pallet with three levels on which to place your plants.
The main skeleton comprises two thick vertical wooden slats, like columns, to which most pieces are screwed.
In front, perpendicular to the vertical slats, three groups of flat wooden slats, simulating a pallet’s slats, delimit the planter’s levels.
In our case, we have placed seven: two at the bottom, three in the center, and two at the top leaving a few centimeters of separation between the different slats on each level.
