I will use assembling techniques for the first method for our cylinder.
For the second method, I am going to use broomstick techniques.
For the first and second methods, the clear I will use is Red mold.

How To Make Cylinder Pottery Without A Pottery Wheel Using Assembly Techniques Step By Step (Method 1)
Material needed;
· Perknife
· Thread cutter
Also, read who invented the pottery wheel.
1. Cut the clay from the block with a thread – preferably a fishing line.
Kneading is not necessary. Wrap a cardboard tube in plastic wrap.
The diameter of the roll roughly corresponds to the diameter of the vase (which will then shrink!).
The foil should be thin and lie flat and will help later when it comes out of the mold.
2. Roll out the clay on an absorbent surface (e.g., chipboard) between two wooden slats; so it becomes evenly thick.
Use the roller to determine the dimensions of the required clay slab and cut a rectangle of the appropriate size from the slab.

3. Wrap the clay slab over the roll and overlap slightly; the point where the ends of the plate meet.
A disused credit card or other plastic card is well suited.
When rolling up, ensure the cardboard tube does not reach the bottom edge.
4. For the base, place the roller on a piece of clay that has also been rolled out evenly and cut it out in a circle along the roll.
It is best to lay the record in a newspaper to make it easier to turn the whole thing later.
5. The bottom is attached to the clay roll with a slip. For this, lumps of clay the size of marbles are flattened and dried on an absorbent board;
Then crumble the flakes with your fingers and mix with water until the mixture has a creamy consistency.
It takes a little time, so prepare the slip before you start pottery!
6. Rough up the base around the edges with the tines of a fork.
Apply the finished slip thickly to the lower edges of the clay roll. Place the roll on the floor and press firmly.
Scoop out the oozing slip and smooth it with your fingers or a plastic card.
Remove the roll – do not press the base inwards – and smooth the inside seam.
Making a cylinder is the most straightforward process because it is effortless.

How To Make Cylinder Pottery Without Using A Pottery Wheel Using Broomstick Techniques (Method 2)
Material needed
· Clay
· Penknife
· Dowel
Step 1; cut from the block of clay with a thread – preferably fishing line or any available tools.
Step 2: knead the clay and avoid adding water.
Step 3: After Kneading your clay, round the clay using your hand; once it gets around, squeeze and shape it into a coil.
State 4; roll the clay on a smooth surface (desk) using your hand till it forms a decent shape. This process helps the clay to increase in diameter.
Make sure it is between 26 to 30 cm long (10 to 12 inches respectively), or keep it at your preferred length.
Step 5: You will notice that the clay’s top and bottom are not flat, so gently flatten the bottom and top by tapping it on your work surface or desk.
Step 6: use a quarter-inch dowel to open the center of the clay starting from the top (of your cylinder). Let the Dowel pass through the clay for about 2 inches.
Now place your left hand on the clay and your right hand on the Dowel; begin to twist the Dowel and roll the clay so you can feel the center.
Once the center gets felt up, remove the Dowel.
Step 7: now locate the center of the bottom on the other side.
Pass the Dowel through the center of the bottom and twist it continuously till it busts true the other opening at the top.
Step 8; past the quarter-inch Dowel through the opening and hold the two ends of the Dowel.
Now place it on your smooth table and hold the Dowel very strong.
Continue holding the Dowel and roll the clay on the table till you feel a piece on the open of the clay.
Step 9: Remove the quarter-inch Dowel and put in the 1-inch Dowel, and roll it freely on the table.
This time free your hand from the Dowel and let your hand rotate freely on the Dowel.
Once you have successfully made a larger hole with the one-inch Dowel, remove it and put in another bigger dowel.
If you have exhausted your Dowel, you can look for a carbon, big pipe or large smooth stick, or even your kitchen roller at home to make the hole bigger.
Step 10 (optional): put your biggest stick or Dowel inside your clay and roll it on top of a surface that has a design.
It can be a line strike or a surface that opens like a shifter.
Step 11: Keep your cylinder apart and use a roller to flatten another clay. Once the clay is flat, place your cylinder on the clay and cut the extra piece.
We are trying to cover one side of the cylinder.
Step 12: Turn the cylinder upside down, let the cover part face upward, use a paddle to arrange and smooth its outer part, and then use a ruler to smoothen it.
This process is a bit complex and requires some material, although with it when you have a vast knowledge of doing things.
